Óscares 2015: Nomeações

Os realizadores Alfonso Cuarón e J.J. Abrams, o actor Chris Pine e a presidente da Academia, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, anunciaram há momentos os nomeados para os Óscares 2015 - 87.ª edição, a realizar-se no dia 22 de Fevereiro.

    'Birdman' e 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' foram os dois filmes com mais nomeações - 9. Houve algumas surpresas, como as 6 nomeações de 'American Sniper', a ausência de 'The Lego Movie' entre os filmes de animação e Marion Cotillard surgiu entre as candidatas a Melhor Actirz (uma boa surpresa). Este ano a Academia encurtou o número de nomeados a Melhor Filme de 9 (como tinha sido nos últimos três anos) para 8.

    A seguir aos dois filmes mais nomeados, 'The Imitation Game' reúne 8 nomeações, 'Boyhood' e 'American Sniper' 6 e com 5 nomeações temos 'Whiplash', 'The Theory of Everything' e 'Interstellar' (como se esperava, infelizmente apenas destacado do ponto de vista técnico).

Algumas Considerações:

- É lógico, com tanta politiquice sempre associada aos Óscares que um filme como 'American Sniper' cairia no goto, e não deixa de ser um pouco estranho que 'Selma', que nas restantes categorias foi apenas nomeado para Melhor Canção Original, surja entre os nomeados para Melhor Filme (onde de resto todos têm entre 9 e 5 nomeações). A progressiva revelação dos nomeados de outras categorias permitiu construir a suposição de que 'Foxcatcher' estaria entre os nomeados;

- Não se confirmaram os rumores de que Steve Carell poderia acabar por ser considerado actor secundário, e na categoria de Melhor Actor a presença de Bradley Cooper (inferior a outras prestações como 'Silver Linings Playbook' ou 'American Hustle') surpreendeu, e acabaram por ficar de fora Jake Gyllenhaal, David Oyelowo e Ralph Fiennes. E já agora, Miles Teller, embora nunca tenha havido buzz para ele ser nomeado. Entre as actrizes, a presença de Cotillard deitou por terra as esperanças que Jennifer Aniston ou Amy Adams tinham. Os actores secundários não surpreendem, mas do lado feminino a nomeação de Laura Dern - porque as outras 4 eram garantidas - "atirou" para fora Jessica Chastain (A Most Violent Year) ou Rene Russo (Nightcrawler);

- Bennett Miller foi uma surpresa, num ano em que Damien Chazelle, David Fincher e Christopher Nolan mereciam mais do que ele. Embora já imaginássemos que Nolan não seria considerado, com Chazelle, Fincher ou Ava DuVernay a história era outra;

- 'The Lego Movie', que até aqui era por muitos considerado o favorito para Melhor Filme de Animação, não foi nomeado; a ausência de Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl) nos Argumentos Adaptados foi surpreendente; e em termos de Melhor Fotografia é quase criminoso 'Interstellar' não constar. Dá alguma vontade de rir pensar que 'Gravity' teve, no ano passado, o dobro das nomeações do filme de Christopher Nolan.
