HFPA anuncia os nomeados para os Golden Globes 2015

A Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) anunciou hoje os nomeados - de Cinema e Televisão - para os Globos de Ouro 2015. A cerimónia realiza-se precisamente de hoje a um mês, a 11 de Janeiro, com apresentação de Tina Fey e Amy Poehler. Em termos gerais, nesta 72.ª edição 'Birdman' foi o filme mais nomeado (7 nomeações), seguido de 'Boyhood' e 'The Imitation Game' (ambos 5); enquanto que em termos de distribuidoras foi a FOX quem somou um total de 12 nomeações, mais duas do que a Weinstein Company.

    A HBO foi o canal que amealhou mais nomeações (15), com Fargo (5) e True Detective (4) a serem as séries, embora sejam mini-séries, com mais hipóteses de subir ao palco.

Cinema

Na 7.ª Arte houve poucas surpresas. 'Foxcatcher' foi nomeado, deixando nomes como 'Whiplash', 'Gone Girl' ou 'Interstellar' a ver navios. Na categoria Comédia/ Musical, 'Pride' foi a grande surpresa; David Fincher e Wes Anderson (boa surpresa) figuram entre os realizadores nomeados, Jake Gyllenhaal ocupou o 5.º lugar entre os actores dramáticos, que era a única incógnita, com Jennifer Aniston a conseguir igual reconhecimento numa categoria em que também havia já 4 certezas. Christoph Waltz foi considerado actor principal em Comédia/ Musical, figurando automaticamente entre os nomeados pelo seu papel em 'Big Eyes' e, nesse género mas do lado feminino, Helen Mirren, Quvenzhané Wallis e Julianne Moore (nomeada a si tanto no género dramático como na comédia) foram escolhas menos previsíveis. Nos papéis secundários Jessica Chastain e Robert Duvall completaram duas categorias onde o seu lugar era a única dúvida.

Nas séries e mini-séries houve também espaço para algumas surpresas mas, regra geral, os nomes grandes estão todos na corrida. 'Masters of Sex' perdeu o seu lugar para 'Downton Abbey', numa categoria em que 'The Affair' foi uma boa surpresa mas 'House of Cards' deverá ser o vencedor. As principais surpresas no espectro televisivo foram as ausências de 'Modern Family' e 'Veep' entre as séries de comédia, apostando a HFPA em 'Jane the Virgin' e 'Girls'. Nas mini-séries 'The Missing' foi também uma surpresa, enquanto que em termos de actores ou actrizes as nomeações menos esperadas foram as de Frances O'Connor (The Missing) numa categoria que fez justiça a Frances McDormand, Jessica Lange, Allison Tolman e Maggie Gyllenhaal (um bom ano para os irmãos). Nomes como Peter Dinklage, Tatiana Maslany, Eva Green, Mads Mikkelsen, Richard Jenkins e Kate Mulgrew ficaram de fora, bem como Jim Parsons, o inconfundível Sheldon Cooper. Sherlock, e Benedict Cumberbatch (não ganharia porque há McConaughey, mas tinha que ser nomeado) também acabaram por ser cartas fora deste baralho.
